Department of Physics

            The Department of Physics has been actively functioning since 2009 in order to fulfil the objectives set by the great visionary and foresighted president of the Late Babasaheb Varhade Education Society, Hon'ble Dr. Akashji Anil Varhade, whose broad objectives are to offer higher educational facilities to bachelor's and doctoral degree rural students who have remained a socially and economically backward group of society.It is one of the college's larger departments, with three sanctioned teachers for the undergraduate (B.Sc.) programme. At the moment, it serves undergraduate (B.Sc.) student.In the year 2019-20, the department was recognized as centre for higher learning to register research students leading to Ph.D. degree affiliated to S.G.B. Amravati University.The syllabus is framed by S.G.B. Amravati University as per the UGC guidelines for Semester Systems. The department has modern equipment’s for experiments.The department has a cutting-edge laboratory designed for undergraduate and Ph.D students. ICT-capable sophistication developed in a lab.There are number ofresearch publications in Journals of national and international repute. This department is known for inculcating good scientific culture, educational values, maintenance of discipline so as to make them competent for learning and teaching activities.
