Department of Chemistry

            Greeting from the Departmental of Chemistry, Mahatma Jyotiba Fule Commerce, Science and Vitthalrao Raut Art’s College, Bhatkuli. Departmental of Chemistry is one of the largest departments in the college. Department of Chemistry was established in 2009 by the Visionary and foresighted Presidents of Late Babasaheb Varhade Education Society Hon’ble Dr. Akashji Anil Varhade, whose dream to educate the youth from rural background is being fulfilled. From the beginning, the whole hearted devotion and hard work of the faculty has laid down a strong foundation and path for progress. From the academic year 2022-23, Post Graduate teaching department of Chemistry is established in the campus with specialization in Organic Chemistry. This indicates and highlights the faith in the competence of the Department in terms of its faculty and infrastructure.

            Apart from the traditional teaching process, faculty of department insist on use of Morden teaching tools like LCD projector. Students are encouraged to make oral and power point presentation, gives seminar to enhance creativity, communication skill and confidence. Innovative teaching methodologies incorporated in the regular teaching program helps to develop and maintain student’s interest in chemistry like industry/research lab visit, experiment demonstration, Quiz-Poster Presentation, Guest lecture.
